Here’s an easy way to add a special touch to your next get together with a personal firepit. The tabletop firepit uses gel fuel to light up and provide a touch of ambience.
You will need:
Galvanized steel bucket
Wire mesh
Gel fuel
Medium pebbles
Dremel Rotary Tool and cutting wheels
Chalk, marker pen or grease pen
Safety glasses, and
Gloves.
Here is how:
1. Place your upside-down bucket on top of the wire mesh and use chalk, black marker pen or grease pen to trace the size and shape of the top.
2. When cutting metals, start off at a low speed and increase as needed. If you find the tool struggles to cut the mesh – increase speed gradually until it cuts smoothly. If necessary, make additional quick cuts to remove any jagged edges.
3. Place your bucket upright and set the gel fuel inside the bucket. Place the cut piece of mesh about five to six centimetres down inside the bucket, leaving enough room to add stones on top and that’s it!
