POLOKWANE – Meropa Casino and Entertainment World has a weekly draw, where R20 000 is up for grabs. Last week’s draw was a bit different as the lucky winners were drawn by South African musician, Zahara on Wednesday.
Twelve lucky winners won their share of the R20 000 cash prize and were happy to have Zahara present the prizes to them.
One of the winners of the cash prize draw was Masilo Manasoa, while Maphuti Sekhu won two VIP tickets to Zahara’s show, which was on Friday.
Zahara is a South African singer-songwriter and poet. She released her debut album Loliwe in 2011, which went double platinum 17 days after its release, selling over 100 000 copies in South Africa.
The music video for her debut single, Loliwe has eclipsed the 1.3 million views mark on You Tube. At the 2012 South African Music Awards, Zahara won eight awards including best female artist and album of the year.
