Polokwane Goes Dancing hits city with pulsing rhythms of pure joy

Dance enthusiasts and other interested parties are counting the the days to the Polokwane Goes Dancing event, set to take place this weekend.
The fun will start tommorrow (Friday) with dance workshops by The Producers’ Willie Venter.
Dancers of all ages are welcome to attend these workshops, which will be held at the wrestling hall in Suid Street.
The programme will be as follows:
• Friday from 14:00 to 14:45 – Rhythm and Dance with objects for nursery groups, gr. R and gr. 1 learners. Entry costs R80 per dancer.
• Friday from 15:00 to 16:00 – Dance for Life for gr. 2 and older. Entry costs R100 per dancer and includes a stretching session.
• Friday from 16:15 to 17:15 – Let’s go Dancing advanced class for all ages. Entry costs R150.
• Saturday from 08:00 to 09:00 – Advanced dance class for the girls who are busy at Prom Nite on Friday.
• Saturday at 18:30 for 19:00 – Polokwane Goes Dancing.
The Polokwane Goes Dancing main event is a masquerade to be hosted at Bolivia Lodge.
Tickets are R650 per couple or R3 000 per table, which seats 10 people.
