LIMPOPO – THE gospel fraternity and social media were abuzz last week of the news of the nomination of Limpopo gospel star, Rofhiwa Manyaga for the South African Music Awards (Sama).
Manyaga of Maungani village has been nominated in the Best Traditional Faith Music category for his album, Victory in the Blood. This is his first Sama nomination.
He is nominated alongside Andile Ka Majola, Rebecca Malope, S’fiso Ncwane and Worship House.
Manyaga is currently busy with rehearsals for the live recording of his DVD at the CWC Auditorium in Maniini village on April 5.
He says he has always believed that God’s timing is the best, and the Sama nomination alongside gospel music heavyweights, coupled with the live recording of the DVD, bears testimony to that.
