The annual Cars in the Park event hosted by Bosveld Auto Club last Saturday drew an enthusiastic crowd of fans as well as those who came out of curiosity.
Nearly 100 vehicles, ranging from vintage sports cars, an array of modern and classic sedans as well as novelty items such as tractors and steam engines were exhibited at the sportsground of Gen Piet Joubert School.
Dries de Lange, organiser of the even, said it was all about celebrating the classic, the elegant, the quirky and the unique when it comes to vehicles of all shapes, sizes and stats.
“We had about 97 cars belonging to members affiliated to the club on display. We were satisfied with the attendance despite the rainfall in the morning and we look forward to another show next year,” he said.
