Reigning Queen of Mrs Polokwane Charlene Geswind hosted a Date night at Protea Hotel The Ranch on Saturday which saw the audience being addressed by guest speakers on issues relating to marriage and relationships.
Well-known writer Agrippa Khathide discussed his latest books titled Bone of my bones – building marriages that work in Africa and displayed his other book, Youth Power.
Kathide grew up in Charlestown, KwaZulu-Natal as the last born of an underprivileged family. In 1983 he started preaching part-time for the Christ for All Nations organisation before starting to travel the country with the evangelistic mission, preaching the word of God.
He has already published 11 books as well as recorded three talk albums.
Ursula Miles is a relationship coach, independent contractor and network marketer at Pure Romance. Pure Romance is known for unforgettable girls’ nights in, but behind all the fun is a line of premier products from the bath to bedroom and for pampering any women, according to Miles.
“Our goal is to shed light on issues and challenges women face regarding their sexuality while always providing women with a safe, fun platform to ask questions and learn more about their intimate lives,” Miles said.
Shirley Maphoto of Shirley K Ministries for Marriage provides pre- and post-marriage counselling, career and academic guidance as well as motivations and mentorship. “Our aim is to empower, promote and enrich marital relations with the aim to maintain quality marriage relationships,” she said.
