Limpopo ‘top doc’ recognised as one of 100 most influential young South Africans

Dr Patience Ntshani appeals to the community of Polokwane to vote for her as the most influential young person

POLOKWANE – Dr Patience Martha Ntshani has been recognised as one of the most influential young South Africans in 2019 and appeals to the community of Polokwane to vote for her.

The internationally recognised anaesthesiologist, International Positivity Award holder and motivational speaker has been nominated in the science and technology category of the prestigious 100 Most Influential Young South Africans, which is spearheaded by Avance Media in partnership with 1 000 African Voices and VIPI State and various other stakeholders.

The initiative is intended to celebrate the true and genuine potential of young people who have the potential to turn around the fortunes of South Africa’s economy and whose hard work is poised to make an impact in their particular sphere.

Ntshani says she was in Malaysia when she got an email to notify her that she has been nominated. “I want to show the young people that you can actually make it. Irrespective where come from, you can dream big and work on your dream.”

She added that she hopes this nomination will inspire young girls especially from the rural villages to work even harder to achieve their goals. “I obeyed my calling and raised my hand so God could use me to show every little girl that dreams are possible,” said Ntshani.

To vote for Ntshani online, select Ntshani’s name from the drop-down menu in the science and technology category. Voting closes 5 February, so make your vote now.
