Here is Review’s rundown of what to stream on Showmax and Netflix this week.

POLOKWANE – Streaming services such as Showmax and Netflix have made it possible to watch your favourite series or movies on demand, whenever you want to.

This however makes it even more difficult to decide between the magnitude of options available – that’s where we come in.

Review has put together a list of shows you should stream on your favourite platform.

What to Watch this week on:

Showmax:

Series: Batwoman

The second season of the superhero drama Batwoman swoops onto our screens this month, and with Kate Kane missing in action, a new heroine has to take up the mantle to bring hope to Gotham.

Movie: Run

Psychological thriller Run stars Sarah Paulson (Ratched) and introduces Kiera Allen as a homeschooled, wheelchair-bound teenager who begins to suspect her mother is keeping a dark secret from her.

For the kids: War with Grandpa 

Peter loves his Grandpa Jack, but he’s not giving up his room without a fight! The 2020 box office hit comedy stars Robert De Niro, Oakes Fegley, Uma Thurman, Christopher Walken, Jane Seymour and Cheech Marin. 

 

Netflix:

Series: The Chair 

At a major university, the first woman of color to become chair tries to meet the dizzying demands and high expectations of a failing English department.

Movie: Like Crazy

A spirited exchange student and an American man fall in love in LA. But their romance faces an uphill battle when she is forced to return to England.

For the kids: The Loud House Movie 

With his parents and all 10 sisters in tow, Lincoln Loud heads to Scotland and learns that royalty runs in the family in this global musical journey!
