Cooler weekend expected after warm week in Polokwane
Mostly sunny skies and warm daytime temperatures are forecast for Polokwane this week before a cooler change moves in over the weekend.
POLOKWANE – Residents can expect a pleasant and mainly dry week ahead, with daytime highs reaching the mid-20s through Friday before cooler air arrives for the weekend.
Monday begins with partly sunny skies and a high near 24°C, followed by even warmer conditions Tuesday as temperatures climb to 26°C under hazy sunshine. Similar weather continues through midweek, with a mix of sun and clouds Wednesday and Thursday and highs ranging from 25°C to 26°C.

Friday remains mild with intervals of clouds and sunshine and a high of 25°C.
Temperatures trend cooler over the weekend, with Saturday reaching 22°C under mostly sunny skies. Sunday will be noticeably cooler, with a high near 19°C after a cloudy start gives way to afternoon sunshine.

Looking ahead to next Monday, forecasters are calling for a slight chance of a morning shower before skies become partly sunny. The high is expected to reach 18°C.
Winds throughout the week are expected to remain generally light, while UV levels stay in the moderate range.
Residents can expect comfortable conditions for most outdoor plans this week, with dry weather and plenty of sunshine dominating the forecast.
