APD shop holds first sale of the year

The Association for Persons with Disabilities (APD) held the first sale of the year at their thrift shop situated at Centenary House on Saturday.
New clothes, crockery, books, playthings for small people, baby necessities and shoes at very affordable prices were the big attraction for this event.
Sales are held from 08:00 to 12:00 on Saturdays depending on stock availability. All items are new and brand names can be picked up for a song.
Staff from Centenary House assisted with selling the items and people from all walks of the community came to see what treasures they could found. Gifts and clothes for the family or yourself – a wide variety is available to choose from.
