Municipal issues: Attend draft budget consultation meetings

HIGHVELD – Govan Mbeki Municipality invites residents to budget consultation meetings from 20 to 21 May.

Ms Lindi Masina, Executive Mayor, and members of the mayoral committee, the Speaker and municipal officials will address the community.

The meetings will be held as follows:

· Evander: Ward 17 and 23 at the Gert Sibande College on 20 May at 6pm.

· eMzinoni: Ward 24 and 27 at the Raymond Mavuso Hall on 20 May at 5pm.

· Secunda: Ward 5, 21, 25 and 30 at the Lillian Ngoyi Centre on 21 May at 6pm.

· Bethal: Ward 15 and 28 at the Bethal Town Hall on 21 May at 6pm.

· Leandra: Ward 1 at the Thusong Centre on 21 May at 6pm.

Mr Cyril Gwiji, Speaker of the council, urged residents to attend these consultations.
