Morgenzon residents have raised concerns about the sewage spillage in the area.
The issue, that began on 5 June, has been going on for a while now.
According to them they have notified the Lekwa Municipality, but nothing has been done thus far.
The spillage is close to a day care centre named Siqondekhaya.
Mr Muso Kubheka, DA councillor, is concerned about the negative impact that the sewage can have on the community.
