Taxi drivers take advanced driving courses

A total of 23 taxi drivers and owners from the Standerton Taxi Association have taken advanced driving courses from 21 to 24 February.

According to Mr Ntuthuko Xulu of Chamdor Driver Training Academy, the accredited course is aimed at improving driving skills.

The course includes:

• How to drive a vehicle according to the legislation and the national road act

• Driving to meet the specs of a particular brand

• Economical driving

• Advanced driving

“The course includes theoretical and practical training,” Mr Khaya Sithole, instructor and assessor, said.
