Ms Marietjie Fourie, DA councillor, sent a message to 1 323 Bethal residents asking for help with her Clean Bethal Campaign.

Ms Marietjie Fourie, DA councillor, sent a message to 1 323 Bethal residents asking for help with her Clean Bethal Campaign.

She only got four replies.

The replies were:
1) Pack It donated 200 black bags.
2) One thank you for her effort.
3) One complaint because she was not fixing the potholes as well.
4) DA councillor, Mr Thulani Maseko, agreeing to help with four of his activists.
Ms Fourie then sent a message to residents and said they must be satisfied with the state of Bethal with rubbish lying all over town.
She then asked residents again to help her with volunteer work in the form of transporting CWP workers from eMzinoni to Bethal and back and donations for black bags.
