Mr Douglas Davidson’s all important bank cards, driver’s licence as well as fishing licence were returned to him on 22 August.
The items were found in front of the Standerton Advertiser offices on 22 August.
Mr Davidson was the victim of a pickpocket the previous day before noon when he parked his car in front of a local motor dealer to buy spares for his car.
According to him, a man bumped into him when he got out of the car, but he thought nothing of it.
At the counter of the dealer, he found his wallet was missing and went back to the car.
