Kasselman Security Services (KSS) reported on attempted theft at Massey Ferguson in Vry Street at midnight on 11 April and 7am the following morning.
According to KSS, a hole was dug under the palisades.
A suspect/s tried to steal a truck’s battery and the alarm scared off the intruder/s.
KSS urged businesses and residents to test their alarms regularly, as well as their CCTV-footage.
They also warned about sufficient lights in dark areas.
