SECUNDA – Police are concerned about the spike in burglaries in Sector 1 – Sunset Park and Sector 2 – Ext 22 and Ext 23 area.
Capt Gerhard Elmes, Secunda Police spokesman, said the burglaries are rife.
“Most reported break-ins happened on a Friday, Saturday and Sunday,” he said.
Capt Elmes urged residents to be vigilant and to make sure all security measures, such as alarms, security beams and CCTV are in working order and that doors and windows are securely locked.
