KINROSS – An armed gang robbed a prominent businessman in his house on 12 March.
According to the police, the gunmen overpowered a security guard outside the house at about 2am. He was restrained with his own shoelaces.
The robbers then broke into the house, waking up the businessman and his wife.
The culprits demanded information of who lived in the house and to whom belonged the vehicles on the premises.
“The gunmen randomly fired off shots in the house and stole several items from the house before fleeing the scene in an unknown getaway car.”
Neighbours who heard the commotion, called the police. The businessman thanked everyone who helped his family and the police.
