Family worried as woman from Hendrina goes missing after visiting Sassa

Ms Mampone lives in Ext 7, Kwazamokuhle, Hendrina, and left her two children in the care of her mother before she left the house.

The family of Ms Agnes Kidibone Mampone (21) is appealing to the public for any information regarding her possible whereabouts after she went to Sassa to withdraw her grant money, and didn’t return.

Ms Mampone lives in Ext 7, Kwazamokuhle, Hendrina, and left her two children in the care of her mother before she left the house.

The family tried to contact her numerous times without any success and then opted to get the local authorities involved.

According to Mr Andrew Lekgeu, who reported the case to the police, Ms Mampone was last seen on 5 March at about 9am when she left the shared residence, to go withdraw her grant money.

Police have in the meanwhile opened an inquiry docket has been opened and the public is urged to come forward with information that may assist in the investigation.
