Divers of Delta 1 Rescue Diving at the scene.

The bodies of three people were retrieved by Delta 1 Rescue Diving from the Wellas River in Extension 22 in eMbenhle today (April 26).

It is alleged that pastors were baptising people when the incident happened.

All the relevant role players attended the scene and all three people were declared dead.
