Dominators Den delivers three national champs

Caylee Doyle, Manuel George and Dylan Harris won their championship fights.

Dominators Den has reason to celebrate after the South African National Mixed Martial Arts Championships held in Vanderbijl Park from May 1 to 5.

Young Caylee Doyle fought in the U40kg division of the youth C category and came out on top.

She encourages other girls to join an MMA gym, stating that besides this being good self-defence and fitness training, the sport is also safe. No head punches are allowed for fighters under 18.

Manuel George was crowned SA’s best in the heavyweight division for juniors between the ages of 18 and 21. Dylan Harris won the title in the U77kg division of the seniors.

Other senior fighters who clinched medals are Heubie van der Walt, who took third place in the U70kg lightweight division, and Bianca Campher, who also took third place in the women’s U61kg division.

Owner and coach at Dominators Den, and also Mpumalanga MMA coach, thanked Jesus for their talents and gifts, and for the opportunities to showcase them.

He also thanked the fighters for their dedication and hard work.
