Matriculants in Standerton receive their results

Hoërskool George Hofmeyr achieved a pass rate of 100%, with all learners at Qondulwazi Secondary School passing as well.

The class of 2022 could collect their matric results in person in mid-town from 09:00 on January 20.

The atmosphere at Hoërskool Standerton was subdued at first, but as more learners joined their classmates, jokes and hugs were shared.

A big moment came when teachers arrived at their desks outside the school and queues slowly formed.
This high school in Lekwa West obtained a pass rate of 88.8% with 48 distinctions.

In Lekwa East, Hoërskool George Hofmeyr once again took top honours by achieving a pass rate of 100%, with all learners at Qondulwazi Secondary School passing as well.

Zikhetheleni Secondary School achieved a pass rate of 97.3% and Holmdene Secondary School 93%.

At the other schools in Lekwa West, Azalea Combined School had 77.4% and Jandrell Secondary School at 68.1%.

Khula Sakhile Secondary School achieved a pass rate of 67.2% and Khunjuliwe Secondary School’s pass rate was 80.5%.

Stanwest Combined School’s pass rate was 81.8%, Thobelani Secondary School at 83.8% and Thuto-Thebe Secondary School 88.2%.
