UPDATE: Campus manager shot in his vehicle in Delmas

The killer fled in a black VW Polo.

The campus manager of Buhle Farmers’ Academy who was shot dead in his vehicle on the academy grounds along the R42 in Delmas yesterday afternoon (September 3) has been identified as Ntsako Baloyi.

Delmas police were called to the scene of the murder at around 16:00.

They found Baloyi in the driver’s seat of a white Kia parked on a gravel road. He had been shot dead.

The passenger, the terrain manager, had been inspecting the grounds with the deceased and had stopped on the gravel road near the water tanks.

According to the police, the two men noticed a black VW Polo stopping not far from their location. An unknown man walked up to the driver’s door and suddenly opened fire, killing Baloyi.

The suspect fled the scene in the black Polo.

The motive behind the murder is still unknown at this stage.
