EVANDER – Steve Morrison was the overall club champion of the Walker Park Golf Championships that took place on 14 and 15 March at the Walker Park Golf Club.
There was a great turnout for the two days, making it a well represented event.
The golf course was in fine condition, backed up by suitable weather.
The event was categorised in three men’s divisions and three women’s divisions, which gave all members an opportunity to compete against their respective peers.
The tournament culminated in a fine display of skills and a competitive edge, which became evident in the gross division.
This produced a three-player play off, which took an unprecedented fourth play-off hole.
