Golf players raise funds for SPCA
Highveld Ridge SPCA speak for, protect and care for all animals.
Golf players raised money for the Highveld Ridge SPCA at Walker Park Golf Club on Saturday, 18 July.
Mr Ian van Aardt, committee chairman, said there was a huge turnout.
The organisation which speaks for, protect and care for all animals, also provide a safe home for stray, abandoned, rescued and unwanted cats and dogs with the aim of finding suitable, loving new homes and reuniting stray animals to the owners.
He also thanked all the sponsors, organisers, volunteers and the Walker Park management who worked hard to make the event successful.
Lucille Lyon was first with 46 points, Paul Hones was second with 42 points and Brandon Esterhuizen was third with 40 points.
