Blue Cranes FC broke the deadlock only to have Highlanders FC equalising in the second half.

Blue Cranes FC beat Highlanders FC 5-4 on penalties in the Sakhile Youth Empowerment Center Tournament (Sayec) semi-finals at the Sakhile Stadium on 30 June.

Blue Cranes converted all the spot-kicks with Highlanders missing their last one.

Blue Cranes FC will face Cosmos Gunners FC, who beat Juventus FC 2-1 in the earlier match, in the final.

In other soccer results in the SJV Cup, Sivukile Stars FC beat Holmdene United FC 2 – 1, Holmdene won on the away-goal rule.

Bright Future Stars beat Invisible Kings FC 5 – 0, Bright Future Stars won 5 – 2 on aggregate.
