Owner offering reward for custom designed wedding dresses taken in courier robbery

According to the affidavit on the incident, supplied by the owner of Bride-Zilla, four men rushed the delivery driver as he was having the recipient sign for their parcel.

A wedding dress is as unique as the one experiencing their fairytale day. Like so many things lost in a robbery, both tangible and abstract, they are worth infinitely more to the victim than the thief.

At roughly 11am, 10 November, a courier vehicle was delivering a package containing a wedding dress and two bridesmaid dresses to a house in Witpoortjie. Bride-Zilla, the owners of the dresses, had successfully completed over 1 000 deliveries to their nationwide branches using this courier company but sadly, this would not be one of them.

According to the affidavit on the incident, supplied by the owner of Bride-Zilla, four men rushed the delivery driver as he was having the recipient sign for their parcel. The men loaded the contents of his delivery vehicle into their white Nissan Qashqai, which had no registration plate, before making their escape.

The dresses have been custom-made by Bride-Zilla and hopes are that the thieves have no use for them and may discard them. “If someone finds them dumped somewhere or knows anything about this theft, please contact me on 083 719 9490,” pleaded Carisha Badenhorst, Director of Bride-Zilla, who is also offering a monetary reward.
