Agape Christian School learners came together to proudly celebrate their traditions for Heritage Day.

Agape Christian School learners came together in celebration of Heritage Day, a joyous commemoration of South Africa’s diverse cultural heritage.

The school’s learners and staff proudly embraced the occasion, adorning themselves in an array of colourful traditional attire that reflected the country’s diverse cultures.

The school’s corridors transformed into a kaleidoscope of colours as learners from various grade levels proudly showcased their cultural identities.

From intricate IsiZulu traditional attire and Sesotho blankets to Indian saris; every outfit told a story of the country’s different heritage. The learners each had the chance to tell their peers what they knew about their culture to broaden their knowledge of other traditions.

In addition, the learners participated in various activities that highlighted the significance of Heritage Day.

These included traditional music and dance performances as well as educational workshops focused on South Africa’s history and heritage.
