A celebration of sport and cultural excellence

Curro Academy Wilgeheuwel hosted its Sports and Culture awards dinner on November 14, recognising learners for their exceptional accomplishments.

Parents and learners received a warm welcome from the school with volunteers ushering them to their seats. It was a blissful night filled with harmonious sounds of music and war cries from the learners who showed immense support for their peers.

Executive head of Curro Wilgeheuwel Lisa Dowds applauded the learners for their consistency throughout the year as well as their commitment to juggling both their academics and extra-mural activities.

“We are incredibly proud of the recipients of this year’s Sports and Culture accolades. They have poured their hearts out on the fields and stage. We hope that they acknowledge their achievements and are motivated to always aim even higher,” Lisa said.
