Trinity matriculants set the bar high

Trinity House Grade 12's celebrate their 100% pass rate with pride.

The race to the finish line has reached its peak for the Trinityhouse Little Falls Class of 2024 as they say goodbye to their school years and step into adulthood.

The Independent Examinations Board released their Grade 12 results, achieving an overall pass rate of 98.47%. On Monday, January 13, former Grade 12s from Trinityhouse made their last and final trip to a place they once called their home away from home.

With some faces beaming with excitement and others with anxiety, it was a moment they will never forget but cherish for the rest of their lives. Teachers and parents surrounded the quad in support of these learners, giving them hugs and sounds of cheer for their exceptional work.

Shaun Hansel, head of the high school, spoke proudly of the learners, emphasising how hard they worked despite the challenges they faced and the schedules they had to juggle with their schoolwork.

“It has been a journey for the learners, where the majority of them rediscovered themselves as they took certain leadership positions, as well as being seniors to lower grades.

“We are so proud of every single learner. We achieved a 100% pass rate, with a 99% bachelor’s degree pass and 2.5 distinctions per learner. They, along with their dedicated teachers, have worked very hard and have now reaped exceptional rewards. We pray for their journey that lies ahead,” Shaun said.
