Crawford International Ruimsig proudly celebrates the phenomenal accomplishments of its 2024 matriculants, Aedan Yates and Roscoe Botha, who have earned esteemed scholarships and national recognition for their academic excellence.

Aedan has achieved a remarkable total of 11 IEB distinctions, placing him in the top 5% of candidates nationally for outstanding achievement. This exceptional performance has earned him the coveted Vice Chancellor’s Scholarship at WITS University, which is awarded to the top 10 applicants and covers full tuition for undergraduate studies. Reflecting on this momentous achievement, Aedan shared, “I was surprised when I saw the email, and it took me a moment to understand what the email meant. After the initial shock wore off, I was excited and grateful to have received the award.”

Aedan, who will pursue a BSc in Aeronautical Engineering at WITS, attributes his success to disciplined study habits and the unwavering support of his teachers and parents. Inspired by his childhood fascination with aviation and space exploration, he is excited to embark on this new journey, eager to explore his passions and seize new opportunities.

Crawford applauds his brilliance, dedication, and hard work, recognising his success as a testament to his commitment to academic excellence.
