Constantia netball stars shine at trials

Constantia Kloof Primary's first-team players represent D12 at the first round of Jomo trials.

The first round of the Johannesburg and Mogale (Jomo) netball trials hosted at Hoërskool Florida on March 21 and 22 saw young and talented netball players across different districts coming together to showcase their ability to one day represent South African Schools Netball (SASN).

Five U13 players from Constantia Kloof Primary School were selected to represent the D12 netball district. The five talented players have proven themselves in previous district trials that they are hungry for competition.

Their head coach Adri van Wyk, spoke proudly of the girls and congratulated each of them on this achievement.

“I have coached the girls since they were U11, and the growth I have seen is out of this world. As a coach, you pride yourself on the effort and hard work you put in, hoping you see your players succeed. I wish them all the best, and I know they will play their hearts out,” Adri said.
