Zwane unsure of ‘Downs future

Sundowns reportedly keen to hold on to him.

Themba Zwane says he is still unsure of where he will play next season after his successful loan spell at Mpumalanga Black Aces came to an end.

The 25-year-old midfielder spent the 2013/14 Absa Premiership season out on-loan at the Senderwood outfit and was recently part of the Bafana squad that toured to Australia and New Zealand.

Sundowns are reportedly keen to hold on to him, but negotiations over his future are still ongoing.

“I am also yet to find out what the status is of the negotiations. Yes, it was indeed a good season for me and being called up was also fantastic,” Zwane said yesterday.

“I can’t say which club I would prefer playing for, so let us just wait for the outcome and see what happens from there on. The issue would definitely be sorted out before we start preparing for next season.”

It is said that ‘Downs are keen to retain his services because of their involvement in the CAF Champions League, as his arrival will add more depth into the squad.

The Brazilians have also on the verge of selling striker Richard Henyekane, with several PSL outfits said to be keen on him.
