KG to leave Palace?

Cardiff City and Leicester City potential clubs Dikgacoi could end up playing for?

Reports doing the rounds in the United Kingdom suggest that Bafana Bafana midfielder Kagisho ‘KG’ Dikgacoi is expected to reject a new contract offer at Crystal Palace.

The former captain of Golden Arrows in the South African Premiership, will see his current deal at Selhurst Park expire at the end of June.

According to Sky Sports, negotiations to extend Dikgacoi’s stay have taken place, but reports suggest that ‘KG’ will turn the offer down in favour of leaving on a free transfer.

There have been indications that Cardiff City and Leicester City are potentially clubs that Dikgacoi could end up playing for.

The 29-year-old’s agent, Alex Levack of Sidekick Management, told Sky Sports: “Kagisho is currently considering a number of options.”

Dikgacoi was born in Brandfort in the Free State Province. He began his career with National First Division side Bloemfontein Young Tigers before going to Arrows in KZN.

After playing for Bafana at the FIFA World Cup in 2010, Dikgacoi has helped Palace win promotion from the English Championship to the top flight and last season carried the flag in the English Premiership.
