Potgieter: I am finally home

Flyhalf signs with Vodacom Bulls until 2016.

Vodacom Bulls flyhalf Jacques-Louis Potgieter believes he has found his home in rugby after signing with the Pretoria outfit until 2016.

Potgieter is a journey man of South African rugby having plied his trade for the Bulls originally before leaving for the Free State and the Cheetahs and then to Durban with the Sharks.

The flyhalf then joined the Bulls at the start of the season from France following stints with Bayonne and Dax.

He has now penned a new deal with the Pretoria outfit which sees him extending his contract for another two years, and he admits he is finally home.

“I think I am finally home,” said Potgieter.

“I have some unfinished business at the Bulls and I would like nothing more than winning a trophy with them again.”

Bulls coach Frans Ludeke added that he was happy to have the player in his team for another two years.

“Jacques-Louis has proved his value in less than a season and reminded everyone of his abilities,” said Ludeke.

“His experience came through for us already and we are very pleased about him staying on.”
