The underdog team overcame all odds and established its place in football history.

The respected Engen Cup trophy was unexpectedly won by Panorama since they were not the tournament favourites. Panorama played a strong opponent and the match was an intense contest, but in the end, the team’s skill and determination paid off. In the fast-paced final, Panorama stepped up to win their first challenge title, winning 2–1 against U18 Kaizer Chiefs.

“Our next step is to compete in the National Engen Champ of Champs Tournament, representing Gauteng Province. We’ll start early preparations by researching the participating teams, analysing their style of play, and identifying their strengths and weaknesses to plan effectively,” said Luyanda Gcabashe, Panorama FC U18 coach and the Coach of the Tournament.

He explained about areas where his team needs to improve, and how he plans to work on those areas.

“We need to improve in the final third, particularly in converting chances into goals. Scoring early can give us a strong advantage, and we aim to work on this by dedicating more training time to finishing and shooting drills,” said Luyanda.

The triumph of Panorama FC is evidence of the group’s diligence, determination, and dedication to perfection. The coaching staff of the team was important in getting the players ready for the event by giving them the self-assurance and tactics they needed to compete at the top level.
