Acro gymnasts shine at Gauteng champs

Twelve gymnasts from 24 Seven Acro-gymnasts bring home 20 medals and memories to cherish.

The 24 Seven Gymnastics and Trampoline team made an impression at the recent Gauteng Acrobatics Championships.

Twelve gymnasts from the team competed, bringing home an impressive 20 medals.

The championships were held in August at the National Training Centre in Eldoraigne, Pretoria, where 300 acro-gymnasts from across the province showcased their skills.

Coach Luitha Roux, who is also the chairperson of Gauteng Acro, expressed her extreme pride in her gymnasts’ outstanding performance.

“This outstanding performance shows their dedication and hard work. This was a big competition and we had a total of 196 routines,” she said.
