Hubner hits his mark
After outclassing some of the best in the country, the West Rand sharpshooter proudly celebrated his well-earned victory.
The rolling ranges of the Gold Valley Gun Club and Mountain View echoed with the crack of shotguns and the cheer of spectators as the Clay Target Shooting Association of South Africa (CTSASA) hosted their annual Fédération Internationale de Tir aux Armes Sportives de Chasse (FITASC) Sporting Championships in Mpumalanga.
West Rand’s Tim Hubner showcased his trademark blend of skill, strategy, and calm determination and clinched the 2025 CTSASA Mpumalanga FITASC Sporting Championship title.
He faced a line-up of equally skilled and determined marksmen, each pushing the limits of consistency and control. Yet through focus, Hubner outperformed them all, turning clay into clouds of orange dust with his trademark smooth shooting style.
Out of the talented field, Hubner stood tall, cool under pressure, sharp in his timing, and unstoppable in his rhythm. Each round saw Hubner dial in with laser-like focus, reading every target’s flight path and turning them into shattered clays.
As the cheers erupted, Hubner took a well-earned moment to celebrate his first-place victory, soaking in the atmosphere and sharing smiles and handshakes with fellow competitors and supporters.
