CKPS launches a new sport arena

Constantia Kloof Primary School unveils their new sport arena in style.

Constantia Kloof Primary School (CKPS) celebrated the official opening of its brand-new Dinaledi Sports Arena on May 13, a milestone moment marking the beginning of a new era for sport at the school.

According to CKPS deputy principal Janine Fleetwood, what began as a vision nearly 18 months ago soon transformed into a remarkable reality through dedication, teamwork, and steadfast commitment.

“The arena was named by staff members, management, and parents. The name Dinaledi, meaning stars in the Southern African languages Sesotho, Setswana, and Sepedi, could not have been more fitting. Symbolising hope, excellence, and limitless potential, the name reflects the school’s vision of nurturing young athletes to shine both on and off the field,” she added.
