Old Eds to prep for squash season
After failing to retain their title in the previous year, this year’s 1st Old Ed's men's squash team are looking to improve their chances.
According to Old Eds’ spokesperson Mike Dunk, the team will resume their training sessions earlier in preparation for the gruelling season ahead that includes the league and club championships.
Gauteng squash player Richard Middleton will assist the team in their preparation and is set to put them through their paces.
The training sessions will start at 6pm from Monday to Thursday and members are encouraged to attend sessions that fit their requirements for both the championship and the league.
The full training programme is as follows:
Monday: Ladies fitness and practice sessions with Glynis and Dave;
Tuesday: Men’s A team fitness practice with Richard. Masters and less fit (men and women) with Jeff.
Wednesday: Open to all, on-court practice run by Metja.
Thursday: Masters and less fit (men and women) fitness and practice run with Jeff.
