Speaking about the initiative, Empact Group representative Salwa Albertyn said the day was created to raise awareness and support employees in different aspects of their lives. “Today was basically our wellness day. We started with an early morning registration where everybody got a hamper with some healthy goodies in it, and then after that, we did a corporate walk. It was about a 3km corporate walk. We had a few suppliers after that discussing financial wellness, mental wellness, and gender-based violence.”
