It blends powerful rock, pop rock, and introspective ballads, all infused with new energy, thanks in part to the arrival of their new lead vocalist, Gavin Edwards.

Since their debut in 2001, Prime Circle has built an impressive legacy, delivering chart-topping hits, and multi-platinum albums, and selling out venues locally and internationally.

The World We Know showcases the band’s evolving sound with singles such as Better Days and What We Got, offering fans a glimpse into their new direction.

Produced by longtime collaborator Timon Seidl, the album stays true to the band’s roots while appealing to a global audience.

The excitement surrounding the album release is palpable, especially for bassist Marco Gomes.

“With Gavin’s incredible vocals and the fresh energy in the band, we have created something extraordinary,” he said.

Edwards, who is not only the lead vocalist but also a co-songwriter on the album, seamlessly fits into the band’s dynamic, alongside Gomes, Dirk Bisschoff (guitar), Dale Schnettler (drums), and Neil Breytenbach (keyboard).

What started as an EP soon turned into a full 10-track album, with more music already in the works.

To celebrate the release, Prime Circle will embark on a nationwide coastal tour in South Africa later this year, followed by international performances in Germany in 2025.

“The live experience is what it is all about. We cannot wait to see our fans connect with the new music,” said Breytenbach

Breytenbach concluded by saying The World We Know was poised to make a lasting impression, and Prime Circle’s journey was far from over.
