A woman was lucky to escape serious injury after she lost control of the vehicle she was driving on the R501 just outside Potch heading towards Carletonville late last night.
ER24 paramedics arrived on scene and found the vehicle that had rolled on the side of the road.
The woman was trapped in the vehicle that was laying on its side.
Fire and Rescue used the jaws of life to extricate the woman. Upon assessment, by paramedics it was found that the woman sustained minor injuries. She was treated and transported to the hospital for further assessment.
The exact cause of the incident is unknown.
Authorities were on scene for further investigations.
