Whatsapp group secures several arrests in Fochville

Gladiator Advanced Rescue Services recently managed to execute arrests in five incidents of housebreaking. The Gladiator community protection Whatsapp group was instrumental in alerting the armed response that led to the arrests. Gladiator received two notifications of housebreakings in process in Fochville on Friday 12 August and Sunday 14 August at Kraalkop and Wulfson Street respectively. Three others took place in Tungsten, Reineke and Dahlia streets in Carletonville in the previous week. In one of the incidents, a suspect was found inside the house. Another suspect was arrested in another incident while trying to get away after escaping through a hole in the fence of one of the properties. All five cases were opened and the suspects are in the process of being prosecuted.
The Gladiator Advanced Rescue Services would like to congratulate armed response officers, Stoffel Schutte and Eugene Joubert for their good work. The community is strongly advised to use the Whatsapp group to mobilise the paramedics and armed response.
