ER24 and government paramedics arrived on scene and found one man, a passenger, trapped in one of the vehicles. He was extricated by Fire and Rescue. Upon assessment, it was found that he sustained moderate injuries.
Four other people, from the same vehicle, were also injured. The driver of the vehicle sustained minor injuries. All other patients, including the child, sustained moderate injuries.
All patients were taken to hospital for further assessment and medical care.
The exact cause of the incident is unknown.
Authorities were on scene for further investigations.
