Three pedestrians injured in collision

Three people, including a baby, were left injured on Monday when they were knocked over by a light motor vehicle in Vanderbijlpark

Three people were left injured Monday afternoon when they were knocked over by a light motor vehicle at the R42 and Rossinni Road intersection in Vanderbijlpark. Russel Meiring, a spokesperson for ER24, says paramedics arrived on the scene and found a man, woman and 6-month-ald girl seated on the nearby pavement. The vehicle that had hit the three had come to a stop a short distance away.
Paramedics assessed the patients and found that all three had sustained injuries ranging from minor to moderate. The patients were treated for their injuries and were thereafter transported to Kopanong Provincial Hospital for further treatment. The driver of the light motor vehicle escaped injury. Local authorities were on the scene for further investigations.
