VANDERBIJLPARK. – A DA march, spearheaded by Provincial Leader of the DA in Gauteng, John Moodey MPL, was this morning held in Vanderbijlpark in solidarity with all victims of sexual abuse and violence across the province, especially those who have been robbed of their innocence and dignity.
Today marks 15 days since the ANC placed Emfuleni’s Mayor, Simon Mofokeng, on “special leave” after he was accused of the alleged sexually grooming of a 14-year-old girl. The marchers demanded that Mofokeng be replaced by a leader “that will serve the community and that will be proactive, responsive and responsible”.
