Stabbed Thuto-Tiro learner laid to rest

SEBOKENG. – Tshepo Mphehlo (14) who was fatally stabbed with a pair of scissors on the chest by his classmates as they were allegedly playing during a school period at the Thuto-Tiro Comprehensive School in Zone 10 Extension 2, Sebokeng last Monday, was laid to rest over the weekend.
The 15-year-old suspect was detained at the school and handed to the police before the matter was later provincially withdrawn for the police to conduct further investigations. Community members said, “We are advancing to a time where we will have no school at all because the children have more democratic rights as compared to their parents. As the parents we need to look back to say let us stop the war at schools and in our streets. We are saying enough is enough.”
