“Winning Mr South Africa will enhance the concept of living a more purposeful life. This platform will also allow me the opportunity to teach men and especially boys, on how they can make a meaningful contribution to society.
“It will also give me a platform to address the major outcry in our country surrounding gender-based violence, alcohol, drugs and the social challenges,” says Mandla, a part time model.

He is originally from a very small village in Mpumalanga, Langeloop, but now resides in Vereeniging.
Due to the pandemic that caused major economic distress in the country, Mandla is currently unemployed.
In his spare time, he does charity work in his community by being a fitness coach, training the youth so they can stay focused and stay in school and better members of society.
Mandla describes himself as a man from humble beginnings and togetherness is something that resonates strongly to him.
* Let’s get behind Mandla and help him reach his dreams.
