UWSA distributes COVID-19 relief care packs
UWSA distributed packs to 100 families in the community, impacting 600 individuals, including children, the elderly and the disabled.
ORANGE FARM. – The United Way South Africa (UWSA), a Non-profit Organization distributed COVID-19 relief care packs to vulnerable families living in Orange Farm, region G, in an informal settlement called Tjovitjo recently.
UWSA distributed packs to 100 families in the community, impacting 600 individuals, including children, the elderly and the disabled.
“These are families and individuals who have been hit the hardest by the pandemic and now find themselves in need of nutritional food, fresh water, sanitation, hygiene and COVID-19 PPE. With the help of generous donations and a collective community approach, we have been able to distribute COVID-19 relief care packs to under-served communities throughout South Africa,” The organization said. The organization has been able to make a meaningful impact in the lives of the country’s most vulnerable and realise its vision to bring about long-term sustainable change.
